The brackets that brand the door open and close are just screwed Into the plastic lining with no kind of anchors. If yous utilize the freezer a lot the screws come up loose. Can't close the door. So 300 dollars later a service call. All to replace a spiral. That's just fine but the hole is stripped because no ane could install a 50 cent ballast on installation at the manufacturing plant. No more Maytag for me.

Very poor quality product. Had to supervene upon damper motor shortly after having the appliance for 3 years with below average use. Motor is made of flimsy plastic piece that breaks. And then you have to pay $275 for the price of telephone call and part.

I purchased an appliance package of washer dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher. All of the appliances needed many repairs. It took four icemakers in the fridge before it actually was fixed. The worst appliance was the dishwasher it was repaired every three months for six years! Washer and dryer died later on five years.

I bought a fridge from Home Depot. Information technology was on sale and non a Maytag. Somehow they delivered a Maytag. I am over-the-top happy with my fridge. Information technology continue things cold. It is roomy, It has separate temp controls for the freezer and fridge. The bright LED lighting is wonderful. It is energy efficient. It is easy to move around when I need to clean under it. It was delivered right away.

I brought a French door bottom freezer fridge from Maytag November 2016. When yous apply the water dispenser information technology floods the place, so we stopped using it. It starts making a very loud racket and afterward several phone calls a technician was sent out. He said the condenser fan wasn't working and they don't have the function in stock so I should stop using the refrigerator. I explained that I am diabetic and my medication must be kept in the fridge, he said, "That's not my trouble." I called the customer service department, spoke to i Latera who said information technology's unfortunate merely Maytag doesn't cover medication. I called once more and spoke with a supervisor who told me the parts weren't bachelor and if I am diabetic I should become and buy a small compact refrigerator to store my medication. No empathy, no HUMANITY just plain rude. I will never again buy any appliances from Maytag, Whirlpool or whatever of their other affiliates as Maytag/Whirlpool are 1 and the aforementioned.

Nosotros purchased a MAYTAG fridge when we recently built our nowadays home. This fridge has been a nightmare! Ice forms in the bottom freezer and and then constantly melts out of the bottom of the appliance all over the flooring. We've had a number of service calls with no real event. The computerized function that sets functions do non work well and oftentimes shut down the appliance with little clear way to start information technology up again. The water ice maker/dispenser ofttimes clogs upward or will not produce ice. We've had information technology! We bankrupt down today and spent the money on a new GE refrigerator. My very stiff advice is DON'T Buy A MAYTAG refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom!

I purchased Maytag fridge a year ago and it has been a nightmare. The freezer doesn't freeze items. the drawers were all damaged upon receiving. I take contacted Maytag for more 10 times and v techs came that I paid 125 each visit to fix the fridge because I didn't buy the warranty thinking it was a skillful product . It is not! They don't stand behind their give-and-take. They lie and they send unqualified techs the misdiagnose effect to collect service calls. Delight avoid this brand past all toll. My experience is terrible and I never want to wish it on anyone.

Practise Non BUY THIS MAYTAG Refrigerator. Purchased 9-30-19. Delivered x-4-19. 12-ix-19 - Not Cooling, Chosen Whirlpool on hold for exactly i 60 minutes. 12-eleven-nineteen - Repair service here - ordered new Control Panel. 12-17-19 - New Command Panel Replaced. 1-6-twenty - Freezer is non freezing. Control Panel going up and downward and blinking constantly. Called Whirlpool - on hold for exactly 1 60 minutes. They called service repair. 1-8-20 - Service Repair here and ordered 2 thermostats: i for freezer and i for fridge. 1-15-20 - Service Repair here to install 2 thermostats - At this time I purchased the extended warranty for $119.30 for 3 years.
3-one-21 - Command Console completely went out once again. I chosen Whirlpool - on concur exactly i hour earlier they reply phone. I am so pissed. They call Service Repair. 3-iii-21 - Service Repair hither. They order new Control Panel. States these panels are continuously going out and they are having to replace them everywhere. 3-12-21 - I called Service Repair since we haven't heard anything. ETA on control panel from Whirlpool is not scheduled until 3-19. I am actually pissed by now.
In the concurrently I have been on concur with Whirlpool for 47 minutes. At exactly 1 hour being on concur, they answer my phone call. I'm told I accept to look. There is nothing they can practise. I told her we were buying ice every other 24-hour interval at $x.07 for 2 20# bags and they won't replace money. Installed by dealer ln 2007 and has worked perfect. Very happy with looks and functioning. Would buy once again. Temperature stays perfect in elevation and naught in freezing compartment. Has a Filtered common cold water dispenser that is really used a lot.
